The vehicle was taken to an unknown local dealer where it was diagnosed that there was an electrical failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The wv dealer's service supervisor indicated this a common problem and the replacement part has progressed through 5-6 evolutions and vw still can't remedy the issue.
