My vehicle is displaying the exact defect described in nhtsa recall number 15v627000 for volkswagen's 2015 jetta. My vehicle was manufactured in november of 2014, which falls within the recall time frame. However, the manufacture refuses to make repairs because they have not included my car's vin number in the nhtsa recall. This issue can be observed when the vehicle is in motion, and when it is stationary. It has…

Driving with windows down on mild spring day, no one in passenger seat, just a wallet, kindle and a paper form. Seat warmers were not on, passenger seat started to smoke and little prong heads poked up, tiny, slight burn on holes in leather seat. Freaked out, called dealer, took car in, they took pics, agreed that there was visible damage to seat, kept the car for a few hours. Later called and said that "there was…

Seat backs on both front seats make a tin-can-like clunking sound when you push on them them least bit and something inside the seat can be felt shifting as the sound is being made. It doesn't matter if the car is moving or not, it always does it. Our local dealer checked other jetta's on their lot and they all do it so they won't fix it as they consider it "normal operation".
