    While in traffic i heard a very loud bang and pulled off the road. I had the car towed to prime volkswagon, [redacted], saco, maine. They reported that the left front spring had broken and needed replacement. I was charged $893.50 for the repair plus the towing charges. The vw dealership did not advise of any safety recalls.
