Ignition key gets stuck in the on position and cannot turn the car off. It also sticks when off and cannot get the car started. In a web search i find that this is a common problem. The cost to replace is ~$800 this is a repeated problem and happens on an almost daily basis. Vw claims there is no recall. In my opinion, this is a major safety issue and should have a recall.
